Date: Saturday 22 September
Location: Covered Market
Preston's primary producers of contemporary theatre and live performance, Derelict, bring you a programme of local artists and community groups, interpreting a Lancashire vision.
Derelict is a non-profit organisation made up of Preston based artists and producers and is supported by Arts Council England, UCLan and Preston City Council.
Co-commissioned with Light Up Lancaster Festival, there will be a large scale illuminated moon.
Like a Spanish 'Running of the Bulls', No Bull! is a recreation of the famous Pamplona tradition with a twist.
The controversial and brutal sport 'Bull Baiting' took place on Preston's Flag Market years ago, until it was rightly banned in 1726. The remains of the bull ring still exist to this day.
Step back and watch as people, wearing the traditional white colours with red sashes, run through the streets, parks, alleys and market places.
Preston's very first Bull Run...without the bull.
'The Agora' was a stage in the centre of Ancient Greek towns, providing a space for artists, philosophers, local business people and the general public to say, sell or do practically anything they wanted to.
The new Market Hall canopy will see three open access stages, so come along and see what there is on offer.
